Aviation Industry Leader Robert Cords Set to Lead ATS
Everett, Washington (December 4, 2023) – Aviation Technical Services (ATS) today announced the appointment of its new CEO, Robert Cords. Rob replaces Paul Dolan, who left ATS in November.
Rob joins ATS from Wheels Up where he served as Executive Vice President of Fleet Operations and Infrastructure, overseeing maintenance programs related to its Part 135 charter operations and Part 145 repair station. Earlier, Rob was President of MRO Holdings, a leading global provider of airframe maintenance and modification solutions. Prior experience also includes President of Airlines and Fleets at StandardAero, overseeing its largest aircraft engine maintenance division.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Indiana University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He will be based in Fort Worth, TX, at ATS’s component repair facility near DFW International Airport.
