Community

We are very proud to sponsor Boys & Girls Country, a Home for Children.

Boys and Girls Country is a Christian Home, providing children from families in crisis with love, security, a sense of self worth and opportunities to prepare them for a successful life. The Camp of Champs is a great annual event, of which we are honored to be a part.

We are pleased to have been a part of the “Nature Explore Classroom” project for Reading Friends, a local children’s learning center.

Research shows that children benefit greatly from daily connections with the natural world, and those interactions cannot be reproduced indoors on a computer or on video.  The Nature Explore Program is a collaborative project of the Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundations.

With donations from local community members, Reading Friends was able to convert their playground into a Nature Explore Classroom for the benefit of their children.

Toys for Tots

Ranger Air participates in the Marine Corp Toys for Tots toy drive each year. We have so much fun shopping for children who might not otherwise receive anything at all for Christmas.  Through this program, the Marine Corp provides a message of hope to needy youngsters, to motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.

Supporting youth programs in our community is important to Ranger Air.

We are proud to be the sponsor of Team Dynamite, an 8U Team in the Flower Mound Youth Softball Association. These kids work hard, building friendships, strength and responsibility through solidarity.

Special Olympics

In March, fifteen Grand Prairie ISD Special Olympians traveled to Austin to participate in the Winter Games. Ranger Air is honored to sponsor the Grand Prairie ISD Bowling Team.

More than 3500 athletes participated in bowling from all over the State of Texas. These athletes performed above and beyond their practices, increasing their bowling scores and bringing home gold, silver and bronze medals.

Grand Prairie ISD Special Olympians stood out among all other districts with their peer partners from GPHS, SGPHS, Dubiski Career Center and Jackson MS. They had the time of their lives, and for many of them it was their first time staying away from their family members. New friendships were formed with other athletes that will last forever.

Congratulations to these athletes, peer partners, parent chaperones and coaches for a job well done.
